Southeast Cross Country is 2nd, 3rd at Abilene

Southeast of Saline picked up a pair of high team finishes to open the cross country season on Thursday in Abilene.
The Southeast girls were second to Sacred Heart, while the Trojan boys were third.
Sophomore Allison Stutterheim won the individual title with a time of 16:19. She was followed by teammates Kylie Poague in fifth, Madison Keim in seventh, Jade Yianakopulos in ninth and Hannah Henry in 16th.
Jackson Montgomery was the top finisher for the Southeast boys, placing fifth. Zach Montgomery was eighth, Jim Weller was 11th and Ryan Patrick placed 16th.
