Cougar Soccer Routs Ark City

The Salina South boys soccer team rolled to an 8-0 win over Arkansas City in the season opener on Tuesday.
Jose Escobedo had a goal and three assists to pace the Cougars. Erick Hernandez had a pair of first-half goals and picked up an assist in the second half.
The Cougars outshot Ark City 21-4.
The Cougars play their home opener on Thursday against Goodard Eisenhower.
