Falcons Bounce Back in Colorado

The Salina Falcons Senior American Legion baseball team is 1-1 in the Boulder, Colo. Invitational.

The Falcons defeated the Davy Jones Rangers 6-2 on Thursday.

The Falcons scored one in the second, two in the third and three in the fifth to pull away.

Keenan Breen picked up the win, going the distance while striking out nine. Breen allowed just four hits and a walk. The runs scored against Breen were unearned.

Breen was 3-for-3 at the plate with a double. Matt Rowe had a pair of hits and Mason Brightbill drove in a pair of runs in the fifth inning.

The Falcons are now 22-9 on the season. They continue play in the Boulder Invitational today against Team Colorado at 3pm and Lightning Baseball at 5:30.
