A former detention officer is facing charges he had sex with inmates under his care. On Thursday, Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents arrested 42-year-old Frank Alexander on two counts of unlawful sexual relations. The allegations against the Russell, Kansas man were raised in October. Alexander was fired from his job in early November.

That's the word from campus authorities, who say the high-tech diverted university direct-deposited payroll funds to third-party accounts via spam and/or phishing emails asking for "myWSU" credentials. Passenger traffic at Wichita's Eisenhower National Airport is on the rise. More than 145-thousand-people flew in and out of Wichita in November, setting a new record for the month.
