A Lawrence hotel is destroyed in a fire. The blaze broke out about noon yesterday at the America's Best Value Inn near Sixth Street and Iowa. Everyone safely evacuated and a firefighter fell through a floor, but was not hurt. Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution and the cause of the massive fire is under investigation.
