The body of a woman is recovered from the Republican River in Geary County. Deputies responded on Sunday evening to the report of a body in the river west of North Washington Street. The victim, identified as 40-year-old Ashley Hatcher, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say there are no signs of foul play.
