Wichita Zoo to Vaccinate Animals against COVID-19

MetrosourceAugust 9, 2021

A Kansas zoo is vaccinating its animals against COVID-19.

Officials at the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita say that its big cats and great apes are getting the Zoetis vaccine.

The zoo is expected to receive the vaccine in October, and vaccinations will be given to animals who have the highest risk of contracting the virus.
