Winter weather has caused the Kansas Department of Transportation to closed down westbound Interstate-70 at Hays.

Interstate 70 headed west in Western Kansas closed Sunday evening due to the winter storm impacting parts of Colorado.
According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, westbound I-70 was closed at Wakeeney. Truck parking was limited on I-70 in Northwest Kansas because of the winter storm affecting Colorado.
Motorists were advised to delay westbound travel into Colorado.
