A Kansas firefighter is dead after being electrocuted while on a call.

Morton County deputies and emergency crews responded to a rollover accident near Rolla, Kansas, on Sunday evening.

Officials say a firefighter was searching for crash victims when he received an electrical shock from damaged power lines.

The firefighter was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, and the incident is under investigation.
