Saline County COVID Cases Surpass 6,000

Saline County has now topped 6,000 total COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the Saline County Health Department’s Dashboard, the Friday afternoon update indicates there are 12 new cases of the virus and now there have been 6,009 total cases. There are 185 cases of the virus currently active.

With no deaths to report, the death toll in Saline County from the virus remains steady at 107.

Salina Regional Health Center reports they currently have three patients who require hospitalization for COVID-19.
The county dashboard has been updated with the latest information:
According to the Kansas Department of Health & Environment Coronavirus Website, there have been 297,748 cases and 4,824 deaths statewide.
