The Smoky Valley Vikings swept the Lyons Lions with the girls winning 53-41 and the boys winning 58-30. Viking girls got off to a great start leading 14-6 after 1 and 19-14 at the half. But Lyons would edge closer and actually take a 25-24 lead with 3:50 left 3rd quarter only to see the Vikings go on an 11-2 run and take a lead into the 4th quarter and extend it to win the game 53-41. Kira Haxton led the Vikings with 13, Ashlyn Bryant added 12 and Ellie Brumbaugh had 11.

The Smoky Valley boys followed suit by racing to a 10-4 first quarter led and stretched it to 29-11 at the half. increasing it to49-24 after 3 and winning it going away 58-30. Lane Schrag led the Vikings with 14 Cade Schneider added 12 hitting 4 of 5 threes.

Vikings will close out the home portion of the schedule friday with a home game vs Pratt.
