Teen Threatened with Knife

A Salina man is arrested for allegedly pulling a knife on a neighbor.

Police Captain Chris Trocheck tells KSAL News that 51-year-old Jerry A. Huff was involved in an altercation after he reportedly made verbal comments about the girlfriend of a 17-year-old male who was walking past with her in the 200 block of E. Mulberry on Friday night.

Police say the male confronted Huff, who then pulled out a folding knife and opened it up in a threatening manner.

Huff also allegedly pulled the knife out while officers were interviewing him.

He is facing multiple charges that include deadly use of a weapon, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.
