Stolen Work Van Found

Salina Police recovered a stolen work van full of tools and are still looking for the thief who took it.

According to Police Sergeant David Villanueva, sometime between 9pm Wednesday and 6:45am Thursday morning, someone jumped into a van owned by Jae’s Electric and drove away from the 700 block of S. 11th.

An officer on patrol found the van on Thursday morning around 7:30am in the 200 block of S. Chicago with the door unlocked and the window down.

Police say the van, which is valued at $20,000 was not damaged and added none of the tools were taken out of the vehicle.
