KSAL StaffFebruary 15, 2019

Salina Police are investigating a couple of unrelated damage to property cases. According to Captain Paul Forrester, someone used a BB gun to shoot out seven windows and damage a backdoor on a rental home in the 1000 block of N. 8th Street. Although the incident dates back to mid-December, the owner did not report the crime to authorities until this week. Damage is estimated at $4,000.

Vandals also used a BB gun sometime between February 1 and February 13 to damage a 7-foot by 5-foot window at Smoky Hill Education Center located at 605 E. Crawford. Replacement cost for the glass and blinds is estimated at $1,100.
