Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary in the 1400 block of Derby.

Captain Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that the owner contacted authorities last Friday, after someone broke a kitchen window, entered the home and stole numerous items.

Police say an area rug, wall pictures, an end table and oriental decorations. The burglar also damaged a door on the garage.

Loss and damage is listed at $1,000.
