Julee CobbApril 4, 2019

Experience the power of polytechnic and attend K-State Polytechnic’s annual Open House this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open House is a day full of fun activities for all ages.

Start the morning with delicious flapjacks and fixings at the Flight Team pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. Tour through the hands-on academic showcase to experience degree options available on campus and the polytechnic learning style provided by K-State Polytechnic. Indulge in famous Call Hall ice cream while you tour campus and participate in activities.

K-State Polytechnic is introducing a new event this year – the Polytechnic Club Games. Sponsored by student organizations, the Polytechnic Club Games is an activity challenge course where participants will compete in hands-on, polytechnic-inspired competitions like a pit stop on the Baja car, a blindfolded cookie decorating challenge, a dizzy airplane toss and more! Participants can compete individually or as a team in either the youth or adult division. Challenges are fun for all ages, and there will also be a bounce house available for children to bounce all day. Tickets to the Polytechnic Club Games are $10 and are available for purchase during check-in at Open House.

Attend K-State Polytechnic’s annual Open House Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first 25 people to register at Open House will receive a free ticket to participate in the Polytechnic Club Games. For questions about Open House or to see a full schedule of events and challenges in the Polytechnic Club Games, visit or call 785-826-2640.
