Oscar Shorts to Screen in Salina

The Salina Art Center Cinema is offering the opportunity to see all of the Oscar-nominated short films, all in one weekend. The theatre is planning an Oscar Shorts Festival.

According to the cinema, for the 14th consecutive year, Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films, opening on Feb. 8th. All three categories are offered – Animated, Live Action, and Documentary. It’s a chance to predict the winners, and have the edge in your Oscar pool.

A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world, don’t miss this year’s selection of shorts.

Live Action — Friday February 8th @ 10:30 pm

Animated — Saturday February 9th @10:30 am 

Documentary — Sunday February 10th @10:30 am 

A Festival Ticket for the Salina event is $18. Regular price is $8 per show. The Salina Art Center Cinema is located at 150 S. Santa Fe in Downtown Salina.

The Academy Awards take place Sunday, Feb. 24th.
