Officials OK Programs from CARES Act Funding

MetroSourceSeptember 18, 2020

The Sunflower State has another 290-million dollars to help Kansans impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yesterday, legislators approved a plan to fund public-health programs, essential needs and services, and business-resiliency and workforce-development programs recommended by the state’s SPARK program.

State officials say the money represents the final round of federal CARES Act funding.
