The City of Salina’s Public Works department along with the North Salina Community Development (NSCD) group will be holding a public meeting at the St. Johns Military Academy library from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. on February 28, 2019.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the ongoing efforts of the NSCD group to improve the area with their “Front Porch Project” as well as provide information related to public concerns over the traffic speed on North 9th Street from Pacific Avenue to Euclid Avenue.
Results of the traffic speed studies and a public survey and the location of potential crosswalks will be presented. The NSCD group will also present information about ideas for banners or flags to install along this section of North 9th Street and update the group on this year’s Spring Spruce Up to be held on April 13, 2019.
