New Program Assistant at Salina Arts & Humanities

There is a new face at Salina Arts & Humanities.

Brad Anderson, Executive Director of Salina Arts & Humanities, announces that Susan Eberwein has been selected as the agency’s new Program Assistant.

A native of Salina, Eberwein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Leadership from Fort Hays State University and an AAS degree from Salina Area Technical College.

Previously, Eberwein worked for the Department for Children and Families and served in various capacities for Salina Tech, including overseeing or supporting student work-study, leadership development, enrollment, and Title IX, disability and veteran’s services. In the finance-insurance industry, she has worked with public-sector entities including the City of Salina, USD 305, USD 306 and Saline County.

In her role at SAH, Eberwein will oversee the River Festival’s Artyopolis children’s area, support the Festival’s Visual Arts components and assist with event administration.  Alongside her River Festival duties, Eberwein also will support SAH public art and artist-education projects and outreach through A.S.K. (Artists Sharing Knowledge) programming.

In her leisure time, Eberwein spends time with husband Mike and their children and grandchildren. Susan serves as a youth guardian, cares for her West Highland White Terrier Fiona and enjoys mystery novels and comedy or action films.
