Six Arrests From May Most Wanted

A half-dozen people from the latest list of Salina’s Most Wanted have been arrested.

The first weekend of each month a new list of Salina’s most wanted is released. The latest list went online back on Saturday, May 2nd. Since that time, six have been arrested.

Those on the list this month are wanted for crimes that include conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated battery, burglary, theft, computer crimes, and felony drug crimes.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Jeremy Doss, Michael Hightower, Melynda Hurt,  Randall Ray, Tawnya Shaffer, and Ian Sinnett have all been arrested so far this month.

In April there were 9 arrests from the most wanted list, and 3 Crime Stoppers rewards were given out.

Since the Most Wanted program began back in July of 2000, thanks to tips from the public, 2,164 criminals have been caught, and 316 crime stoppers rewards have been given out.
