New Development Director at Salina Tech

Salina Area Technical College has a new person in charge of development.

Larry Pankratz has joined the school as its new Director of Development. According to the college, in this role, he will lead the Foundation’s fundraising work, securing new financial support for the college.

Pankratz comes to Salina Tech from Triplett, Inc., where he was Business Development Manager, responsible for sales and marketing for 24/7 Travel Stores and City Wide Self-Storage.

Pankratz has also been Executive Director of the Salina Housing Authority, Business Development Manager at Exline, Inc., General Manager of Integrated Solutions Group, and Vice President of Network Marketing and Sales for Kansas Cellular.

Pankratz’s higher education experience includes serving as Director of Continuing Education and Associate Director of the Technology Assistance Center at the former Kansas Technical Institute (now known as Kansas State University Polytechnic).

Before coming to Salina, Pankratz was Continuing Education Coordinator for the Colleges of Business and Engineering at K-State’s Manhattan campus.

Pankratz earned his Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration and a Master’s in Education Administration from K-State.

Pankratz served on Salina Tech’s Board of Trustees starting in 2014, and recently resigned to take the Director of Development position.

Pankratze currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ashby House, and has served on the boards of the Domestic Violence Association of Central Kansas, the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, Hospice of Salina and Consumer Credit Counseling and helped establish Circles of the Heartland and Community Access Television of Salina.
