Police are looking for a couple who held a man against his will in a Salina motel room and left with his cash.

Police Sergeant David Villanueva tells KSAL News that the 61-year-old victim told officers that back on January 10, he was staying at the Log Cabin Motel, located at 440 N. Broadway when a woman knocked on his door and asked to use the phone. As the woman entered a male accomplice burst in behind her.

Both suspects indicated they had concealed guns in their jackets and proceeded to take $138 in cash, a debit card, leather jacket and a beard trimmer from the victim.

The male suspect who is described as a white man with reddish hair and a beard told the victim he would shoot him if he called police.

The white, female suspect is described as 5-foot-6-inches, heavy set with brown hair.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation and any information on who the suspects may be should be shared with detectives. Call Crimestoppers at 785-825-TIPS, or Salina Police Department at 785-826-7210.
