At around 5:00 in the evening, first responders were called to the report of an accidental shooting in the 200 block of E. Ellsworth Street. They found a man suffering from a bullet injury to his hand.

Police Lt. Russ Lamer told KSAL News at the scene that a man was handling a small calibre handgun inside a home at 228 E. Ellsworth when it discharged. The man was struck in the hand.
