Kansas’ new governor is outlining her priorities for her first year in office.
Governor Laura Kelly delivered her first State of the State address yesterday at the Kansas Statehouse in Topeka.
Kelly is calling for increased education funding, expanded Medicaid coverage and balancing the state budget without having to raise taxes.
The governor warned that Kansas is completely unprepared for the next economic downturn and there is no margin for error.
