Injury Accident in Sumner County

A Missouri woman’s vehicle hydroplaned on the Kansas Turnpike in south-central Kansas, leading to minor injuries.

The Kansas Highway Patrol tells KSAL News, that Tammy Snehten, 58, Kansas City, Mo., was driving a 2014 Spark northbound on Interstate 35 in Sumner County when the vehicle hydroplaned and struck the east bridge railing along the side of the highway.

Snehten suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Wesley Medical in Wichita.

The crash happened at noon on Wednesday afternoon at mile marker 26 on I-35.
