A Saline County man has been arrested for aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Captain Jim Hughes with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office tells KSAL News that 33-year-old Shawn Wynne was taken into custody on Monday after investigators learned of alleged sexual contact between Wynne and a girl under the age of fourteen.

Deputies say the charges are linked to one incident that took place in northern Saline County between Wynne and the girl. A school official contacted the Sheriff’s Office after learning of the allegations.

Authorities say the two who are acquaintances.
