Girls soccer

Salina South defeated Ark City 10-0. The Cougars only needed 53 minutes to get the 10-goal mercy victory. Brooke Renshaw scored four goals.

Boys tennis

Salina Central dominated the Newton Invitational, earning first and second place finishes in both divisions. Brady Stack and Austin Beatty qualified for the finals. Stack defeated Beatty 8-7 with an 8-1 win in the tiebreaker.

In doubles, the teams of Reed McHenry/Max Shaffer and Chase Courtbot/McCabe Green also qualified for the finals. McHenry-Shaffer defeated Courbot-Green 8-1.

Salina South’s Parker Renz shot a 73, good for fourth. Parker Norton tied for 14th with an 83. Cole Stein finished tied for 21st with an 85.
