Helping Hands, Dancing Feet

KSAL StaffDecember 18, 2015

Dancers from all ages will grace the stage at the Stiefel Theatre Friday night at 7pm to lend a hand to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina.

The holiday event is presented by students from Tamara Howe School of Dance. Howe tells KSAL News her traveling performance group and recreational students are ready to shine tonight, “We started this concert last year and we wanted the proceeds to go to someone local,” Howe said.

“I think we’re in the same business of kids – mentoring kids and giving kids opportunities.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO, Michelle Peck added the Stiefel provides the theatre free of charge and that admission for the show is by donation.

Helping Hands Holiday Concert is tonight, December 18th from 7pm to 8pm.
