Generator Worth $42k Stolen

Police are investigating the theft of a power generator from a Salina business.

Police Sergeant David Villanueva tells KSAL News that sometime between noon on Christmas eve and December 27 at noon, someone hooked up a trailer with a $42,000 generator onboard and drove away.

Police say the “Clarke” brand generator was stolen from Central Power Systems, located at 1944 N. 9th Street.

Investigators are now looking at several different surveillance videos from around the area and encourage anyone with information regarding the crime to contact Salina Police at 785-826-7210.
