Another July Most Wanted Arrest

Another person on the July list of Salina’s Most Wanted has been arrested.

The new list of Salina’s Most Wanted went online Saturday, and by Thursday seven have been arrested.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Rickey Roy is the latest person arrested from the list. He was wanted for felony drug crimes.

The first weekend of each month a new list of Salina’s most wanted is released. The latest list went online Saturday.

Those on the list this month are wanted for crimes that include attempted murder, aggravated battery, interference with a law enforcement officer, burglary, theft, theft by deception, felony drug crimes, felony DUI, and failure to pay child support.

The July list of Salina’s Most Wanted looks a little different. In an effort to clear up numerous outstanding warrants that are currently active, it has been expanded.

Since the Most Wanted program began back in July of 2000, thanks to tips from the public, 2,178 criminals have been caught, and 317 crime stoppers rewards have been given out.
