Ford Escape Stolen

A car is stolen from Salina’s aquatic center.

Police are investigating after someone took a bag containing car keys and a phone that was left in the patio area at Kenwood Cove, 701 Kenwood Park Drive on Friday evening.

Police say a blue, 2008 Ford Escape, owned by Taitum Wood of Salina was stolen sometime between 7:30pm and 9pm on August 7th.

The vehicle is valued at $10,000 and has Kansas plate 922 HUU.

Police report that an iPhone valued at $600 was also in the bag left unattended by a 16-year-old driver.
