Deaths From the Flu Confirmed in Kansas

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is confirming the state’s first flu deaths of the season.

State health officials say two people have died from the flu since the reporting season started on September 1st.

Flu symptoms include a fever lasting three to four days, chills, fatigue, cough and body aches.
