The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of multiple items from a rural property.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowki says over the course of the last two weeks someone has pulled into a farmstead in the 2200 block of S. Hedville Road and removed metal pipes, 30 automobile batteries, 9 grain truck tailgates, steel riggings and equipment used in pouring and finishing concrete.
Owner, Kurbe Windslow told deputies a homemade hydraulic box lift was also stolen sometime between May 1st and May 13th.
Loss is estimated at $22,000.
