Salina’s public transportation system is going high-tech. Travel by CityGo routes can now be planned with Apple Maps.

Transit Data for the CityGo fixed route service has been available for a few months on Google Maps, but with the addition of Apple Maps, we are now able to accommodate iPhone and iPad users.

We hope our participation in Apple Maps will encourage current ridership and connect CityGo to new active riders.  By showing the “Transit” link in every search for driving directions, Apple Maps in Salina is helping to promote public transit by informing drivers of the possible transit services they could utilize.  This service can be used on mobile phones and devices that use the Apple Maps app.
