Saline County Sheriff’s deputies make an arrest in connection to a home burglary northwest of Salina.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that a couple of burglars were caught on video breaking into a home in the 1100 block of W. Grand, twice between July 4th and July 7th.

Deputies used the images to locate and arrest 48-year-old Clarence Douglas on charges of burglary and theft.

Deputies say Douglas and another suspect forced open the front door and stole food, clothing and a flashlight. The search for the other suspect is ongoing.

Sheriff Kochanowski says both suspects were homeless.
