Salina Police have taken one male, juvenile into custody and expect to make more arrests after numerous windows on homes and cars were shot with a BB gun.

Police Sergeant David Villanueva tells KSAL News that as many as four people were also targeted by a suspect who fired BB’s at them from a moving vehicle.

Police say property and people were targeted in the 1900 block of Ingman, 1900 block of Roach, 1100 block of Acorn, 100 block of N. Santa Fe, 700 block of N. 9th, 500 block of S. 11th, 700 block of Fairdale, 1200 block of E. Cloud, 100 block of W. Iron, 400 block of S. 11th and 400 block of S. 12th.

Property damage in the case is estimated at $5,200 while the four people hit by pellets had minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.
