Art Center Seeking Artist Instructors

The Salina Art Center is looking for engaging, experienced artist instructors for teaching residencies this spring and summer.

According to the art center, their patrons would love to have more options for workshops.

Recent requests include oil painting, watercolor, metal work, sculpture, textiles, and printmaking. Proposals DO NOT have to be limited to these mediums. The organization says to send them your ideas.
Available dates are February 11-17 and April 18-24.

Workshops will be for adults (ages 15 and up), should be hands-on, focus on building artistic skills and knowledge, and be appropriate for beginner to intermediate level.

Artists will receive a stipend for their work. The Art Center will provide all workshop materials. In addition artists will have full access and use of the Art Center Warehouse apartment and studio space, be provided with a per diem, and be reimbursed for predetermined travel expenses. Additional community engagement opportunities may be available (artists talks, meet and greets, etc)
