The delivery of a new air refueling plane at McConnell Air Force Base is being delayed.

KSNW reports that Boeing has not delivered the KC-46A Pegasus to McConnell following the change of leadership at the U.S. Department of Defense.

Defense Secretary James Mattis recently departed from his post, and Deputy Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan is a former Boeing executive and must recuse himself from all decisions made with the company.

The aircraft was to be delivered to McConnell by the end of 2018, and airmen there have been training on a replica of the plane.
