A Salina man is charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm after he shot himself.

Cody Suhr, 24 of Salina, was cleaning his gun at work at Weis Fire, 111 E. Pacific, when he accidentally shot it.

The bullet grazed his palm and wrist. Suhr was transported to Salina Regional by an ambulance.
