A Salina man was arrested after allegedly stalking an acquaintance.

According to Salina Police, on Thursday at about 6 PM, officers responded to the 900 block of W. Crawford in reference to a trespassing. The caller, a 53-year-old female, reported 42-year-old  Otto Knotterus was trespassing and following her and a friend to several locations. The female was in fear of Knotterus.

Officers arrived in the area and located Knotterus and took him into custody without incident. Contact was made with the friend, a 36-year-old female, who reported be an associate Knotterus. This female reported in July of 2026, Knotterus had battered her on several occasions and was fearful of Knotterus.

Knotterus was booked into the Saline County Jail in reference Domestic Battery and Stalking.
