Movie staff finds an empty wallet.

A Salina man is out $500 cash after accidently leaving his wallet at the Starplex Cinemas at the Central Mall, 2259 S. 9th.

Police say the 45-year-old man attended a movie Sunday night and realized the next morning he’d left his wallet behind.

Staff found the wallet on the floor Sunday night, which did not contain any cash – and put it in the safe.

The man met with the manager and recovered his wallet on Monday.
