Police are looking for a suspect following an incident involving a knife.

According to Salina Police Tymarquas Johnson and Troy Havens, both from Garden City, went to see a movie at the Salina Central Mall, late Dec.23rd. Around midnight as the men exited the movie, family members arrived and there was a heated verbal argument. A switchblade style knife was pulled on Johnson but after a few minutes the situation was defused without injuries.

The following day Havens and Johnson entered a home on N. 3rd St. Approximately 20 minutes later Havens discovered the windshield of his 2002 Toyota Camry had been smashed and there were 3 flat tires. The total cost of damage is estimated to be $900.

The suspect is known but not yet in the custody of Salina Police, charges could include: Aggravated Assault and Damage to Property.
