2 Residential Burglaries

Salina Police are investigating a couple of residential burglaries that are not connected. Sergeant Jim Feldman tells KSAL News that sometime between 10pm Thursday and 8:30am Friday, someone entered a home that is being remodeled in the 300 block of N. Columbia and stole numerous hand and power tools. Loss is listed at $5,000.

 

Five handguns and an AR-15 rifle were stolen from a residence in the 800 block of Highland. Police say someone broke a window to enter the home and left with one .380 caliber handgun, two .22’s, a 9mm Smith and Wesson, one High Standard pistol plus a Ruger AR-15 rifle. Loss and damage is estimated at over $3,500.
