Strong winds are to blame for a train derailment in Harvey County.

Winds gusting to nearly 70-miles-per-hour caused about 140 rail cars to leave the tracks near Highway 50 north of Newton early yesterday morning.

Crews spent yesterday clearing the scene, and officials say repairing the damaged tracks could take days.
