An ER patient’s angry rant lands him in jail.

Salina police officers were called to Salina Regional Health Center on Wednesday afternoon at 3:06pm after a man lashed out at nurses in the Emergency Room.

Police say 36-year-old Randy Nease became violent while be treated, shattering the screen on a monitor as he tore it off the wall, breaking the bracket and a portion of the sheetrock.

Staff also said Nease charged towards a nurse and threatened her during the incident.

He is now facing charges that include assault and damage to property.

The hospital estimates the damages at $2,250.
