Don BengtsonJanuary 25, 2019

In Girls action the Clay Center Tigers scored early and often against the Vikings as they race to a 12-2 first quarter lead and a 28-7 lead at the half. The third quarter the Tigers extended their lead to 50-14, and won going away 64-18.

In Boys action it was just the opposite as Smoky Valley started the game on an 8-0 run, led 18-10 at the half, then started the 3rd quarter with a 10-0 run and led 32-17 after 3 quarters. The 4th quarter saw the Vikings extend the lead and win going away 51-29. Cole Brumbaugh led the Vikings with 16, and Cade Schneider added 9. Vikings will be in action Monday against Hutch Trinity and Tuesday on the road at Hillsboro.
