In SIT tournament play the Vikings using the 3 point shot got out to early leads of 16-9 after 1 and 33-21 halftime, but the Lyons Lions would  not go away and with 3:50 left in the 4th quarter after getting the lead to 50-38 the Lions went on an 8-0 run to close the gap to 4. But the Vikings 5 of 8 free throws down the stretch to hold off the Lions and win 55-48. Ellie Brumbaugh and Kira Haxton led the Vikings with 13 each followed by Kerrington with 11. Smoky Valley will play for 5th Friday at 3:00.
