Truck Stolen from Storage Building

A truck and tools were stolen from a storage building on a rural property.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary in the 2400 block of S. Lightville Road that took place sometime between Sunday afternoon around 4:40pm and Monday evening at 6:40pm.

Deputies say someone gained access to a Morton building through a window and loaded up a Ford pickup truck with tools and drove away.

A Honda air compressor valued at $1,000 was taken and the orange, 1996 Ford F250 with Kansas tag: 288 AGX, is valued at $1,200.

Total loss is listed at $2,480.
