Truck, Fishing Gear Stolen

Over $1,200 in fishing and hunting gear was removed from a stolen vehicle.

Salina Police recovered a stolen 2003 Ford Ranger in a garage at 1110 Park.

The owner of the unoccupied  property contacted police after discovering the truck on Tuesday morning.

The owner of the truck, Jason Montague inventoried multiple missing items, that included arrows, a fishing pole, knives, an electronic fish finder totaling $1,298.

The Ranger was reported stolen from the 800 block of Sherman on Tuesday morning.

Police report a backpack with exercise equipment worth $85, owned by Caleb Gray was also taken from the truck.

No arrests have been made.
